Who We Are
Enigmasoft Technologies UK Ltd is the United Kingdom home of the wider Enigmasoft group, a technology company with roots in India and an expanding presence on the global stage. While our parent organisation, Enigmasoft Technologies India, has built a well-earned reputation across IT solutions, engineering services, and outsourcing, our UK entity has a single, focused purpose: advancing electric aviation and autonomous drone technology.
We are a small team with big ambitions. Our people include aerospace engineers, thermodynamicists, software developers, and systems architects, all working toward the same goal. We believe that electric flight, genuinely unlimited in range and free from direct carbon emissions, is not a distant dream. It is an engineering problem. And engineering problems have solutions.
Our Mission
To engineer propulsion and autonomous flight systems that remove the range barrier from electric aviation, so that clean, efficient flight becomes the norm, not the exception.
Our Vision
We want to live in a world where a drone can fly from London to Edinburgh without stopping to recharge. Where a regional aircraft can cross the North Sea without a gram of carbon leaving its engines. Where the economics of getting a satellite into orbit do not require a hundred-million-pound rocket that gets used once.
We are working toward each of those things at different scales, on different timelines, but with the same underlying technology at the heart of all of it.
Our Story
Where it all began
The Enigmasoft group started with a straightforward belief: technology should solve real problems without creating new ones. That philosophy drove everything from the early days in India, where the team built IT and engineering services that genuinely helped clients grow, to the UK entity we are today, where the focus has shifted to some of the hardest problems in aerospace.
The UK operation was established to bring the group's most ambitious technical programme to market. That programme, an atmospheric energy propulsion system for electric aircraft, is the work of Shamir Budhdeo, our Founder and Chief Inventor. Shamir has spent years developing and refining the physics, engineering, and intellectual property behind this technology. The proof-of-concept hardware is being manufactured, the experimental protocols are designed, and independent academic partners are engaged. We are at the beginning of something significant

The People Behind the Work
Shamir is the inventor of the atmospheric energy propulsion system and the broader technology portfolio that underpins everything we do at Enigmasoft Technologies UK. His work spans aviation propulsion, atmospheric carbon capture, advanced cooling, and space access each technology sharing the same core physics at its heart.
He leads all technical development across the group and holds the foundational intellectual property. Engineering teams in both the UK and India support the hardware development and experimental validation programmes.
Academic Partners
We work closely with Cranfield University, one of the world's leading aerospace and energy research institutions, which has conducted independent technical assessment of our core condensation technology. We are expanding this academic network to include further specialist institutions in thermodynamics, cryogenics, and aerospace engineering.
